LET'S DANCE

"Let's Dance" is an innovative project focused on artistic training and expression, composed of three fundamental pillars: local work workshops, mobility and exchange programs, and joint artistic collaborations. In this context, the dance-theater techniques of Pina Bausch and the Community Dance movement of Royston Maldoon are mainly used, with a thematic focus on European migrations.

The main objective of "Let's Dance" is to raise awareness about population movements from a humanistic perspective, beyond political or economic considerations. The migratory flow and its various manifestations are addressed as an intrinsic part of the human experience, comparable to the course of our lives as a "personal migration in time."

This project, co-financed by the Creative Europe program, is directed by the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions through the Andalusian Public School of Cultural Training in Granada. In addition, institutions such as YDance from Glasgow (United Kingdom), DeLoopers from Bremen (Germany) and Keunstwurk from Leeuwarden (Netherlands) participate in it. The main objectives of the consortium are to train young artists from different disciplines and social contexts, as well as to create an international space for artistic and human exchange that promotes audience development and social inclusion.
